Skull Rock
« on: February 04, 2009, 04:28:11 PM »
Anyone been there or know how to get there? In the Lynn Woods in Mass.  Hiking, not wheeling.

from the looks of it you can get the trail from the naked fish on RT1 there will be powerlines and  MB trails you can follow.  Located half mile up a hill and into the Lynn Woods Reservation.

Lynnfield -  215 Broadway, 01940

Let me know when you go, I would love to see it

Thanks all. Tina that cache site brought you right there!

Came across this on my way to benchmark MY2599 (HAY 1930). It's a bit of a hike from the cache - continue on Overlook Trail to Ox Pasture Road, then up the hill with the power lines - the quarry is off to the left.

Alan, I'd like to go in the early spring before the leaves grow back. I'll let you know and we'll hook up.

Looks cool, but as the last post says, the Cache is down for the count since September. Might want to send the owner a note for maintenance before heading up there.  That being said, I'm up some caching!

Which brings me to a question...  is there a big Geocache following around here? is so, what are some of the names? My wife and I are MissPiggy_and_Kermit

How about Sat, March 7th? This weekend might be too short notice, and the following week, we have a M&G.

I would love to go on the 7th, but I have to fly to Poland on that day. I'll be there for 2 weeks, but I'm game for after that.

I'm resurrecting this thread... The place kind of lost it's mystique now that its like 20 ft from a hotel parking lot.

http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?v=2&FORM=LMLTCP&cp=r2jbr892grwx&style=b&lvl=2&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&scene=2570319&phx=0&phy=0&phscl=1&encType=1

Compared to this:

1993 YJ  6" lift on 35" Goodyear MTR's, 8.8 rear w/ Spartan, Dana 30 w/ Lockrite & 4.10's
1999 Dodge Ram 2500 8.0L V10 Tow Rig
