Was talking to Dennis Greenhorn today at my work and turns out he's got a Cherokee... invited me to the site. Already joined a few other forums to start collecting info about my new ride but I am excited to see a NE Club and to meet some people near me!
I just got my jeep a little over a month ago for $6,000 with just 82000 miles. It's a 99 Cherokee Classic with a 2" and 31's. First week we got her my boyfriend and I had to do do a new water pump, radiator, thermostat and heater core line. Now over the weekend we heard what we thought was a leak in the exhaust pipe, but when we wiggled it we found it wasn't even attached to the muffler
... the PO had done a pretty bad welding job and it had completely rusted apart.
Got a lot of information and suggestions to take in seeing that it's my first Jeep and I already have tons of plans for it. Just gotta buy a full size spare, fix my bent axle and throw some recovery points on her and she'll be good for a wheeling trip.
