If that was in MA, it explains the rig on the trailer that passed me on R91S today.

Nice action shots!  Do they still do bikes and ATVs there too?

Monson is in Ma and yes they did do some dirt bikes and ATVs.  Some 'kids' did very well considering their young age!!!

I ran the first half when i was back in High School in my XJ locked F/R and boggers on the back,
Its much steeper than it looks.
You can get a Hummer in a Jeep, but you can't get a Jeep in a Hummer!

FANTASTIC pictures I don't know why I never caught this thread before. I haven't been to Monson in years. I still love hearing the story of my mom getting stuck on the 2nd part of the hill, front tires just over the top edge her Commando (Luv Nuts/Misery Loves Company) started to roll backward and she had our friend Neal (Glass Nuts) in the passenger seat -- he's like 6'3 and reached his leg over from the passenger seat and stepped on the brake pedal so hard he bent it to the side to help my Mom keep the thing from rolling back before they could get a hook on it -- they snagged it just in time and they didn't flip down the hill.

Do they still let the audience climb the hill after the race?? I remember doing that when I was a kid, oh man that was fun!! It's like climbing a dirt ladder, SO steep!!

That flat black stepside Ford is EVIL looking, I love it!
Don't tell people your problems... 80% of them don't care and the other 20% are glad you have them.
