This guy is in a club from Long Island which was behind us on the Old Florida Road during Rocktoberfest 2011.

I've wheeled with him a few times.

This was 2003...different color but I think it's the same Willy's. Goes like hell.  :grinyes:

Oh the Mountain addition is much more than stickers and tires.
It is special colored grey wheels, grey grill, special color seats with special embroidery....
Most people take off the mountain stickers as their first "mod".

Its a 1958 FC 150 Van concept, theres some cool blogs with a little info on them on hemmings, color pics on one. From what I read only 3 were built by Brook Stevens??? in Germany as concept.

Everytime i see a commerical for a new jeep I think the same. That old one really pops with the color pics, espically the rear of it how it drops down into that chrome 50s style bumper. The only thing i think id change is the rear seat, no need for 9 passangers

Here's a few I've collected on my phone.

I want to say this was an 88 but I don't remember, 87-90... so clean you could eat off of it, and I liked the fog light brackets mounted behind the bumper like that, I started to make my own before deciding to just drill holes in the top of my bumper. Spotted in front of the gas/service station I work at in Stamford.

Here's a good one... TWINS!!! Taken at my job. Mine is the one on the left, sans front plate (its under the passenger seat) and mine has clear grille lights. (Fender ones broke but I have plans to modify and reuse.)

GORGEOUS Scrambler I saw at Sycamore one night when I stopped in for dinner with some friends before they hit the road as truck drivers.

Haha! This is my Jeep on the test drive before I bought it! I walked from my mom's house to the Jeep and test drove it back to show it to her and snapped this picture. My mom came outside and said "SOLD!" before I even said "I want it!" -- because I was only test driving it to entertain myself, I had a great little Toyota but I wanted 4wd and manual transmission. I met the girl who owned it and bought the Jeep from her within 30 hours...

Anybody know this guy? Eric, he's a member of JonFund from CT. Volunteer firefighter and HVAC tech. I haven't seen him in a while and he's done a lot more to his Jeep including rolling it since this picture years ago when we went to the same HVAC school. (Sorry didn't realize the only picture I have is so tiny. The windshield says "The Powerwheel")

http://www.stamfordadvocate.com/news/article/Two-hurt-in-four-car-accident-in-North-Stamford-1714704.php

These ones are a little sad... this is the Jeep that belonged to my neighbor Jill and its the one I stopped at a gas station to look at one night, thus meeting her and one of her lady friends whom I purchased my Jeep from.

I can't find any pictures of the passenger side -- it was WAY more messed up than the rest of the Jeep, but was against a fence I couldn't get a picture of it, and she was at the hospital. Frame was done, Jeep was done.

She was stopped to turn left and a speeding pickup didn't see her and plowed into the back of her 05 LJ. Pickup swerved last minute. She was launched forward and onto the other side of the road (as if she was turning left) and then smashed into the side of the Jeep by an oncoming car which launched her Jeep AIRBORNE off the ground completely and she was ejected out the back window onto the pavement sitting in the road staring down a Mercedes coming right at her that swerved into a ditch (where the pickup ended up) on the side of the road, nearly killing her. The newspaper article isn't 100% accurate about what happened.

It had a pretty fun life as a Jeep before the accident. The bumper and a few lights were reused on a TJ, the wheels/tires (bald) sold, vultures found their way to it quickly and barely left anything for the insurance company. I missed my shot at the SYE.

HERE'S A GOOD ONE!!!
You remember a year or two ago a Jeep Cherokee was used in a few robberies, to drive through the front of a couple Radio Shack's in the Norwalk/Bridgeport area and then culminated into a high speed chase up I95 by state police? The guy driving this stolen Jeep hit the spike strips and flipped it on I95 in Bridgeport.
It was a $900 Jeep and insurance paid out like $4500 or some bullshit. The dumb bitch left the key in the ignition that's how it got stolen!! Insurance knew and STILL PAID!! WTF!!!? She WANTED it to get stolen.

That "dumb b" -- my ex-gf that I met through the Jeep above. Actually my ex put a lot of money into the above LJ as gifts etc.

SMALL WORLD when you have a Jeep I guess.
Don't tell people your problems... 80% of them don't care and the other 20% are glad you have them.
