Spill Kits
« on: February 11, 2015, 08:33:37 PM »
I am seriously late in getting this out to everyone, but here it is.

NEJeep has instituted "Spill Kits" to be used in the unfortunate event of a fluid spill during all trail rides/events.
There will be at least two per trail ride to minimize the time it takes to retrieve said kit and get it to where it is needed.
NEJeep would like to encourage everyone to build their own "Spill Kit" and so the links below will show what ours includes.
Obviously you are free to add as much as you want into yours, but this will give everyone an idea of where to potentially start.

above and beyond these items, we also have contractor trash bags, Ziplock (Gallon) bags, clumping cat litter, and some zip ties.
as you can see, quite a bit will fit into these cans.....so you can carry the items you feel will best help you and the environment out on the trails.

Maybe a smart thing would be to order a large roll of that absorbent roll stuff and have each member buy some of it to put in their kit. Might be much cheaper route.

Sounds like a good idea. Doing the right thing because it's the right thing to do.
