Mt Washington Auto Road - Full Video
« on: July 26, 2015, 10:37:56 PM »
In Gorillacon with no doors, only a bikini top, in blinding fog and rain, in the dark. Awesome...

Here is a link to the full video. Clips that take you from the base to the Summit and back down...

fawk Awesome Rey!  No doors, bikini top (I've been running my short top all summer in case of rain) and fog - good thing you didn't light up your LED light bar in the fog

I missed the elevation - how high was the peak?

This was after "sunrise"

That was an awesome drive. It's funny the brief moment of vertigo that sets in when a heavy bit of fog blows across and you completely lose sight of the lines, even for just a second, because you know how precipitous the drop off is just a few feet away.

The Summit is 6288. The parking lot was 6199. You climb stairs and a little hill to reach the actual summit.

I think my LED Bar would have come in handy going up that.

To a point, but once the fog hit, my LED light bar just created a white veil of Can't See Jack Shit

So true, even though it was ok just a second ago, when it whited out, you thought you would just drive right off the edge.

Do you have that bumper sticker on Gorillacon.

That sticker is huge! There isn't enough real estate on the back of Gorillacon. LOL.  Maybe custom stickers for the 2nd annual NEJeep MW Summit run next year. :)

Awesome! Thanks Rey - My favorite line in the whole video, Rey: "That makes it ridiculous", when you were talking about the weather coming into the experience.

Great to sit through it again - but it is amazing how seeing it on a video screen dilutes the event. You really had to be there to appreciate it.

Thank you for sharing that, Rey.
