Wheeling Sunday
« on: November 06, 2015, 07:57:33 PM »
I'm going to be heading to LMFT Sunday with some locals. Don't have a specific start or finish time,  just figured I'd throw it out if anybody wants to come up.

I will.  Supposedly the terrain varies from Forester-Buggy.

I was wondering if that was Wombus pass.  I didn't know or was an organized area.  Nice!

I have a couple local guys that are going to show me around.  I'll get as many pics as I can.

Holy crap!  I was well under equipped for what I went through there today.  It's worth everyone's time if you come up!  Everything from Forester-Buggy is definitely correct.  The main parking lot looked like a car sales lot, and the "blue" trails looked like 84! I parked and watched a few guys on 40's run some sections of black trails, and well they looked like my TJ on the blue trails.  Didn't get any quality photos because my phone died, but now that I know where the trails are (5 min from my house), I'll be sure to keep this thread alive with photographic evedince of another reason CT is in a decline.

Parking lot over looking from the top.

I don't know what this concoction was, but it was fawk cool!

A lot of the trails were shitty from the 2 days of rain we just had.

Lmft is still working on trail mapping, what they have done so far is great, but there's a lot of hidden gems only the locals know.  Catch me next summer, I'll know them.

I think this hill was poured.  It's a black trail decent off camber with loose rocks, and few boulders.  It's downhill only per the signs.

I had a motorcycle club meeting this morning - otherwise I would have soooo been there. Please keep us posted with your next gathering.
