Perfect upgrade!  I wish mine were like that so as a short stature individual I didn't need a step stool just to reach the rock rail :-)

I got the pleasure of putting in a new radiator due to damage from my friend driving the jeep forward off the trailer when we were packing up to leave Rausch Creek last weekend.... suffered a nasty blow to the face too from the pipe on the hilift jack when I was lowering it down from getting the jeep back on the trailer.... Also started plans for picking up a new frame and preparing for a swap next spring and upgrading the front to long arms. Big plans for next year

I changed both wheel cylinders and tried to set the tow-in. Found that I bent another correct link tie-rod.

I have a couple stock tie rods lying around that can at least be adjusted if you want one to get you by for a while.

Had to take the Jeep to the dealer today. E-brake handle assembly was bad. Had to pull all the way up for it to hold. Seemed like it was skipping a couple of notches before it would catch. It's under warranty so no big deal. They even gave me a 2017 RAM 1500 5.7 HEMI for a loaner. Thinking I might have to sell my Dakota and move up a level...

thanks for the offer. I was able to adjust it well enough by pulling the other tie rod end from the knuckle.

Cut the stupid rockers off & trimmed the front fenders even with the doors to fit some 2x6 box. Also cut and folded the rear quarters. And I pulled off the faded door trim, should have done that a decade ago, looks so much better.

It was always a challenge to get the tie-rod "bow" facing upwards for clearance and still maintain about 1/8ths toe in...if i were looking for steering I'd go aluminum, like this 1 ton set-up from SFR:

Seems like it would be easy enough to make if you knew someone with a lathe. Just drill and tap the ends of a long piece of aluminum bar or thick walled tube. If you already have the currie setup then you have a perfect template.

My RK is aluminum. At F&F Mike said he watched it hit the front diff cover and bounce right back. Too bad my steering stabilizer didn't lol
