YJ cage by DMR
« on: March 20, 2016, 08:12:01 PM »
My buddy Dan runs DMR Offroad and recently built my buddy John's cage.

Started out with a simple design and then John let Dan loose on it.
In addition he dovetailed the rear, tied in rear air shocks, tire carrier, and front hoop.
John also ordered through Dan, RCV axles for his waggy 44, Yukon hubs, 8.8 c clip eliminator, 37" Red Labels, Trail Ready wheels, and an Atlas 2 speed.

Here's how it turned out:

Yeah, that is some awesome work. I've been following the build on Dan's FB page.

No. I got a video on this page of us running BTC for Toys for Tots, he's running the creepies and even aired down to 6lbs they're not deflecting much and not gripping as much as you'd like. We've seen Dan wheel on Red Labels and those are like magic shoes....Gump pun intended

It certainly was a nice cage build, Dan has a very artistic side so that's part of how he comes up with his designs that look great.

It certainly was a nice cage build, Dan has a very artistic side so that's part of how he comes up with his designs that look great.
For sure. I think this is his first wrangler cage. John pretty much gave him free reign. Love how it turned out, more importantly John loves it.
When are you due to drop her off, Tom?? Better get in quick, the line's getting long haha! And Joe will be back with his black LJ very soon. Damn near totaled the jeep 2 days after he got it back from Dan! Not his fault, some idiot was lookin at had phone and drove into him.

I heard about that story, crazy!. I'm going to do my own cage(have a bender) but will research ideas first, not sure if I want a hybrid or interior cage yet..
