Easy way to remove broken manifold studs, with SPICE!

the video goes from a full stuf to nothing. He could have removed the stud with vise grips for all I know.

Definitely a French Canadian! :rotflmao:

I think the point is that the bolt after 36 hours is gone and the aluminum is clean.  Cool trick if you have the time.

Or you could just use the welding method, helps that this motors on a stand, I had a couple bolts broke off below the surface! I was worried about the threads getting fawked sticking the mig wire down the hole, no big deal, the weld doesn't really bother the aluminum head. One bolt took 6 tries before I got the but to stick.
