I personally wouldn't have my yard sprayed with insecticides...  It's kind of a scorched earth method - yes it may reduce tick's and mosquitoes, but it kills all the beneficial pollinating insects like bees & wasps, and wild life food like worms & grubs...  And the chipmunks, squirrels, birds that feed on those.  Plus your kids and pets get in contact with it as well as you cutting the lawn!

Let nature take it's course and just do a tick check every day

I'm not worried about the vermin, I just prefer not to have Monsanto type chemicals fawk with me or my pets...  I live in a semi rural area for a reason

I only did the chem drop once.

do you know how hard it is to hit a vole at 200' with a iron sighted daisey pump with a bent barrel and 40 year old eyes.   I need a rescue terrier

Suck's you are limited to BB guns in MA - your DA is a bitch...  .22LR or .22 WM would fix would fix your rodent problem!
