Those t steering setups suck.  Steering wheel centers in a different spot after left vs right turns.

One of the reasons why I got Reid Racing knuckles is because they raise the tie rod up 1 1/2". Hopefully that will aid in the fight against bent rods.

Sorry but it's just something you live with for now,   With time You'll started putting you tires onto the rocks and not smashing your steering parts into them.

I wouldn't right now.      Just get out on the trail with the club (and good spotters)  you'll learn, Knowledge can save you money.

If you enjoyed Harris Mt.  you'll enjoy club runs more.    1/2 the club seasoned members are Leads or gunners,  the know how to sopt.
I was surprised at Harris Mt. when I was the only one spotting or know how to do it right.   Harris Mt. is not how NEJeep dose it,  our club every one stops to help.

This!  All tie rods bend when you put the whole weight of your Jeep on it!  As others mentioned, experience and seat time with good spotters will save you money in the end

You don't need it.  I think I've got the same Best Top High Rock bumper as you, also without the roller.  Often times you can place your bumper on a rock and slide up it without it (which is probably why I've never seen a bumper with the roller in the real world),
