Tires aren't spinning on the rim, not throwing weights, they only went out of balance as the tread wore down. I've heard it is relatively common with these tires. The rims all appear to be in great shape, almost not a scratch on them. And with 33's on a 15" rim, I doubt I managed to bend any of them. Again, love the traction of these, but the balancing issue sucks.

Ive heard and read nothing but good about DC tires in general . The Extremes got great traction reviews.  MTZs are noted for side wall cuts.   Just my opinion .  FjR68

I will defend my MTZ till im blue in the face.. they work baller

You've now gone down a road that there's no coming back from.

Like my BFG KM2 M/T's

Has anyone besides Jonny seen these have sidewall issues?    I swear he had a set of defective tires.

He is the only one I've heard of.   Frank has had them for a few years now and no cuts I believe.

Probably going to be my next set.  Tempted right now as they are on sale here at the local 4WheelParts store in town.  I really hate my Coopers, probably a bad set but no way to balance or get them to run without shaking the entire jeep at 60mph.  Too much wobble.(no its not a steering or track bar issue..)

I had those on my Cummins (bought them used with one winter season on them). No matter what I did, the truck shook...

My BFG's I also bought used and they were wheeled. One sidewall cut but I left that to user abuse from the person I bought them from. They were also on a full size F150. Other than that, no issues...

I checked and I've actually had them for 5 years now - only cut I have is in one of the sidewall tread blocks from when I hit that car a few years ago!  BTW - that sale at brings them out to less than I paid for mine 5 years ago!
