What's Up People! Mike From Groton Here
« on: July 09, 2017, 01:30:23 PM »
Hey People! I'm Mike. I was just up in New Hampshire with you all... I assisted Ken in nuking his Power Steering Pump  :rotflmao:

Little about me -
I'm filling out the application and will mail in very soon. I had a great time wheeling with everyone in NH, y'all seem like a great group of people and I'd love to join up. I've been to a few M&G's that the club put on, and with this trip I rode shotgun on I finally decided it's time to quit procrastinating and get the app in. For a living, I inspect Subs for the navy. I'm familiar with electrical, mechanical, piping, and structural systems... before that I operated heavy equipment building roads, bridges, doing site work and all sorts of other good stuff. When I was in the army I was a heavy wheel vehicle mechanic and was a recovery specialist... I ran a HEMTT wrecker and did all sorts of on and off road recovery in the states and in Iraq during OIF/OEF.

As far as my current jeep goes, I have a '12 JK Sport. It's got an AEV lift for now, but I have boxes and boxes of Rock Krawler parts in my basement waiting for their chance to go on. For the other stuff, it's on BFG 35's, 4.88 gears with a rear locker and front e-locker... I have JCR undercarriage armor, sliders, and flares; PS front bumper with a Warn Zeon 10-S, Dynatrac Brake kit... I know there's other stuff, but it's slipping my mind right now. My last jeep was a TJ with all Rock Krawler stuff, and I did a D44 front/rear and Rubi Transfer Case swap, and a ton of other small things. I'll post some pictures in a few minutes in this thread...

Anyway, just wanted to say what's up real quick and hope to see you all again soon!

Thanks all!

Haha, yeah... Me and Ken were talking about that on the trail. It was one of those things that when I heard it, it just kinda clicked.... We were both like "yeah, that works!"
