Tractor Fetish
« on: September 22, 2017, 08:22:36 AM »
Since I recently learned that many of you have ... unnatural ... yearnings for tractors, here's a Lambo for sale in Ridgefield, auction ending today. Would owning this be better than owning a forklift? Beats me.

Depends, why are you considering a fork lift?  This tractor doesn't appear to even have a 3 point hitch or any hydraulics.  I have a John Deere SubCompact with a mowing deck and bucket as well as a 3 point hitch for a york rake.  It's the best thing next to my generator!

Forklift  :mad02:

A tractor is more usable, but cant lift as much for the size.

So if its a ferrari can i bring it to car shows

This is my tractor, it's a garden tractor but tractor none the less. 1987 John Deere 420 Garden tractor. It had a 60" mowing deck, but big decks are over rated when playing in a small lawn. Also had a 54" hydrolic lift/ turn plow and a 440 bucket loader, both of which I sold (kicking myself). This particular one doesn't have a rear PTO or three point hitch, but has the capability to amhabe them installed. I bought this baby for $175 at an auction a former employer had. It has the original Onan 20hp engine with almost 4k hours of run time, but starts and runs every time...even, after sitting for months. Oh, and it can tow a small boat.
