Is there much headroom with a half cab?

I would think the half is front to back not top to bottom

Nope not quadratrac - it has a dana 20 transfer case.  Its spins over nicely, but just haven't had the time to get her running yet.  Pretty sure it just needs new points and I know I have a set somewhere.  Tons of folks are wanting me to part it out especially for the half cab.  I think it would be shame to take this one apart but cash is king!
