tera flex covers how much gear oil you getting in?

Just did my diffs cleaned n oiled....However I got 2 1/2 quarts in 44 but only 1 quart in d30...I tried to force a little more but it came at me twice as fast....anyone getting more that a quart in there d30 , not sure if the tera flex cover makes a difference

D30 standard capacity is 1.1 quarts, if you put 1 quart in and you can't puts no more then I'd call it good to go.

yea i tried to put more in but it came out as fast i could squeeze ...... Good to go!

The 30 only needs enough oil for the R&P cause there are no axle bearings to lubricate . General rule is fill to spill.  Although , if your pinion has been rotated up for DS angle , You may have to measure the amount you have to put in if the fill is is the cover.   FjR68

And if you wanted to get more in - which I don't think you need to do - but you could add another pint or so by getting the front tires up on a steep hill, a ledge, stone wall or the like.
