My office sent out an email at 6:30 this morning (which is the time I usually get to work 45 minutes away on a good day) and said we are still open today. I just called in though. Supposed to get 9” of snow, pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to get back in my driveway in he Jetta this afternoon

I'm at my desk, no problems. Have had enough time to look at the Dragon Wagon for sale; would make an awesome tow rig. 8WD!

Spent a few hours last night getting the water of of my mothers basement, thanks to her condo neighbor's broken pipe.  That condo had been vacant for quite a while, so the water had enough time to fill that basement with a few inches, which then seeped through the basement wall cracks into my mother's basement.  That was a lot of fun.  The only good news is nothing of value on my mom's side was damaged.  Stuff is kept up off the floor (learned from past experiences).

Now I'm sitting here at work, alone, 'cause the other departments decided to close for the day.  I'm a little grumpy today.

Got home a little while ago. They cancelled work at 7:38.  I had been on the road for an hour by then.  I didn't get the email until I was at my desk.  Changed the tapes and headed back out.  My boss was in his office working away and never said a word.

Work said we are only closing if the governor gives out a travel ban...

I can't use ban as an excuse. We have government issued passes to travel no matter the ban and can pass all road blocks.

Good thing you have a jeep! Jesus! Safe travels Ken!

Can't remember what year it was, but we got dumped on! All roads where shutdown. I worked like 18 hrs straight and wanted to go home to check on family. It was still white out conditions. Was going down 395 even the state plow trucks stopped running. Was going 50 in my GMC. There was like 4" of powder on the road. I was coming up to one of the exits and at the last second I realized something was amiss. The plow trucks took the exit and left a 3' wing wall. Pretty sure all 4 tires left the ground hahaha I have to try and find the picture but I had to hit my driveway at speed to make it in and the snow was piled up to the grill emblem lol

Sold for $30,000 but living with a 2 stroke Detroit Diesel......loud as a mofo, need your ear plugs for that one when your driving down the road.

Still looks like fun though.

Finally dug out tonight (worked from home today)  wind died down a little...  Some drifts were taller than the front of the blower!  It was cold - I'm glad I added electric start to it at the end of last season

Hydraulics still not right on tractor. Said hell with it and plowed with bucket permanently in float. It was a PITA got stuck a few times but job is done. I'm going to do a flush and fill when it warms up and hope it's not the pump.

Put light heat on the pump and it may free up eough to move it around. I just flushed mine during the Fall. Mine takes on water as well. Think the vent is by the shift lever and rain gets in. I went full cover, I used to cover the dash/seat and isnt enough.

I ran a heater in the tent for 3 hours made it nice and toasty. Also used a map torch from a safe distance on pump, filter and valves. Still dead stick. But my 3 point started to work so that gives me hope. Definitely need to pull her in tent all year from now on.

Theres a check valve on the right side, on the tranny case. It may be stuck open. Mine stuck closed and kept blowing o rings. Theres also another check valve further down same side back by the rear tire. Follow the main steel fliud line that’s around 3/4” diameter. That could be why you’re dead stick.
