HI GUYS fender fit

Need to know if a XJ Cherokee drivers front fender will Interchange have a 1997..will 1996 fender work..

They are different in that the 97+ are more rounded, and the 96 have sharper corners. If you are just going to replace 1 fender, it won't match up.

I KNOW THEY CARRY A DIFFERENT PART NUMBER..WILL IT WORK...IF I'M CUTTING FENDER FOR POCKET FLARES...KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A 96 FREE..JUST CHECKING..IF NOT ..I'LL BUY 97..THANKS FRIEND

The body style changed between 96 and 97. If you need a fender for your 96, you should look at all the 80's-early 90's Cherokee's, up to 96. 97-01 were a slightly different body style.

however....the different body style fenders do bolt up perfectly fine with the other if it's just a trail rig....mismatched body panels are like wrinkles around your eyes, the more fun you have the more you get.
