I've been thinking about this as well, once the lift goes in and I'm on 35's. Problem is the cost of the big brake kits...TeraFlex is $700+ just for the fronts. The Wildwoods are a hell of a lot more. I've been looking at this Power Stop kit, front and rear for $330...

Also looking at these calipers...

Fronts are $290, rears are $250.

I know these aren't considered "big brake kits" but they say they are good for towing (which I do...boat, motor cycle, small landscape trailer) & occasional off road use. Specs say they give 20%+ more stopping power. Is this a good compromise between the "big brake kits" & the Power Stop's? I certainly do not want to spend $1500 + on brake up grades if it is not necessary. Any thoughts or issues with the Power Stop brand?

Power stop calipers are stockies painted red. Crossed drilled rotors and mud don't mix

I know people (including one of the owners of ORE) running 37s with just the front upgrade that I mentioned and they love it.
