Uneven wear on winter tires
« on: February 02, 2018, 01:48:42 PM »
I noticed some uneven wear on the inside of my passenger rear tire, I just had the tires balanced and aligned. I replaced the springs and shocks in the rear at the end of 2015, I guess they could be shot...

What do you think? Replace the shocks?

Why'd you replace the springs?  You put lowering springs in?

 Either
  A) the Alignment is still off or is off again... or
  B) The springs have sagged significantly since the alignment was done... or
  C) The tires were already worn... or
  D) You drive like an asshole and should stop... :rotflmao:

Shocks only absorb impact and settle the springs... If the vehicle isn't bouncing for the next 1/4 mile after a bump the shocks are good.

Hard to tell in picture but that's usually a sign of bad camber

Thats so bad . Who would do that and think it helps with handling or looks cool.  Yet they will pull over a lifted Jeep for not enough tire coverage or a truck with to much smoke .   FjR68

They are pulling these guys over too now. I think it started in two places. In the low crowd a little extra neg camber helps tuck offset wheels. Also I'm pretty sure some extra camber helps handling on drift cars. Like everything the all show bros always take it too far!
