Have the trailer built to put the camper on top of the 5th wheel.  Then your "deck" should be big enough....

I agree Bruce. It would be too high. Looks like I started something with my rig. Two other people I wheel with are in the process of doing the same thing. I have been very happy with mine. It is a lot longer than what Tom is considering, 36 foot deck but my camper is 20 feet

Yeah a pop up folds down. It also is canvass which usually leaks or you fold it up wet and it rots

Doc, your type of setup has been long documented  and works well . it all started  with a pop up on the neck of a goose

+1 for longer trailer.  Extra trailer length can always be used.  Not enough trailer length will leave you wishing for more

Yeah, pop up would work, but not his truck camper.  That will work well with the cab-over of the camper hanging over the goose neck.

this is more of a Sanity check

What i'm struggling with is length.

I plan on parking it in the same spot that i have my car trailer currently. ill find some way to hide it.

First off, the entire premise is flawed, You came where for a sanity check.. Mmmmm Ya,.....No

Second, It's a skinny white guy issue, get used to it, It aint gonna get any better....

And lastly, I can help ya out with making things go unnoticeable....
Superwinch EPi 9.0 Detours Custom Bumpers/Dropkicks, 3.5" RE Superflex Lift, 1" Daystar Body Lift, 15" Cragar Street Lock D, 33" Dick Cepek Crushers,
Solid Axle Diff Covers, Jeep Medic Belly Up Transmission/Engine Skid Plate Combo, Other Kirby+Skid Row stuff

Blessed are those who, in the face of death, concern themselves only with the front sight post...
