Little icy down at my house this morning, but nothing compared to how it was up in Windsor when I get to work. Everything up here is covered in 1/2" of ice.

The conditions made it interesting on I95 this morning when everyone jammed on their brakes when this came flying off.

That happened to me years ago on I95.  Saw a trailer tire bounce across all lanes of traffic both north and southbound lanes and missed every car!

I lost the d-side dually’s on a utilty truck one day. Almost flipped, good thing it was on a side street with no one around. Could have been way worse than it was. Happened just after getting off 95 in Southport.

I got a tip from one of our maintenance guys on buying salt for your driveway.  I was up at his branch and saw some big salt chunks on his walkways.  I was up a couple of days later and it was still there!  I asked him where he got it.  He swore me to secrecy(so don't tell anyone) go to Home Cheapo and go to the water softener section.  There will be 40 pound bags there for $6.99.  Definitely won't wash away the first little rain you get.
