Anyone using one? The heater core on the CJ pooped out on my last Athol camping trip. I just bypassed it so it wouldn't leak/fog up my windows.
I'm doing a tub swap in Jan. so I'm not going to replace the core untill then. Just to get me through till then I was thinking of a 200 watt dashboard heater. I don't care about heat in the rig, just clearing the windshield.
Anyone?

ANTI-fog. It's like $5.00. If the window is squeaky clean before you put it on and you follow the directions and after it dries you really buff the window out with a terry cloth the stuff works awesome....  It'll save ya some money too

go with both then your all set.  Grab a heater core from anything hose it up and get one of those 12v fans for the dash.  Instant power heater.

Ocean State Job lot has an oem style rear window defroster for $8.  Its applies like a decal all connections are supplied to just wire up to a switch and the length is adjustable with scisors.  You just have those tiny red lines running horizontally across the windshield.  Gonna try this on my beater s10 that i use for dump runs.

Better off with a 12 volt hair drier.

Duct tape to the dash or just hold it as I drive down the road. (wonder if there's a law against that?)

Make a little sheet metal bracket to hold it in two positions,

one blowing on the dash

Two blowing on you.
