2015 Wrangler Oil Leak

Hello all,

I seem to be having an oil leak. I'm not 100% but it seems to be coming from around my oil filter and dripping down my transmission and onto my exhaust pipe. The sizzling sound and smell are how I found it. I changed the oil filter but that does not seem have fixed the problem. I have a new oil filter plastic cap coming which I will switch out as well.

Anyone have any ideas on what else I can do? Anyone had anything like this happen?

Thanks

Oil finger housing is broken, they are plastic and if filter tightened too much it cracks and leaks valley of motor and down all over motor

I have an oil filter housing they replaced on my 15jk saying that was leaking causing my issue I had when I said it was the rear main seal, then after they replaced filter housing told me rear main seal was leaking, tried to pull one over the wife so I got my housing back and have in garage

If it's the oil filter/cooler assembly it should be covered under the 5/100k powertrain warranty.

Dealer should look it up by part number not item description to see if it's warrantied. If they put wrong item description in with the request it could be rejected for warranty that's why they need to do it by part number.
