Ball Joint Secret?

what is the secret? When you use the C-Clamp press and put a spacer on the bottom, it pulls the upper ball joint in on an angle. Special tool, spacers? what?

Are you using an air gun or a ratchet? If you're using a ratchet, you could be pulling the press off on an angle without noticing it.
Make sure the knuckle is free of burrs.

might want to put a tiny chamfer on the bore where the ball joint presses in might help get it started also throw the ball joints in the freezer to get them to go in easier (kinda like putting a ring gear in the oven to get it on the carier.)
