HEY!  ITS ME!  The guy that says I need help then don't follow up.     I FINALLY got mine driveable... unbalanced 38s are off... balanced 35s are on as of yesterday.  Got the wheel studs changed on one side, but not the other side yet.  I needed to swap out the old rear ones because they were too short for the new lugs I got.  Anyways... I have to work tomorrow (thursday) from 830-5 in Stamford, but I should get out early... and be home in Trumbull by 5, therefore help you out at 6?  No work friday... Its a holiday!  Get a little help myself on making my doors removeable?  Help you out with my limited skills.   :rotflmao:  Most likely learn and help as much as I can.  Let me know.

Shrek- is it running now?  Or are you guys still working on it

I did one of these 4.0L engine swaps a while back - it took 2- weeks before I got it fired!  PM me with your # I may have a few ideas to fire it up

well i finally found the electrical problem(with a whole lot of help from donny)
but now the motor won't turn when the tranny is mated to it so thats the next problem

If it's an automatic make sure the torque converter is seated all the way down on the shaft (spin it around a few times).

If the torque converter is sticking out a little then it could lock up the engine and tranny by forcing the crank into the thrust bearing.

A Grand cherokee torque converter can be disengaged about 1/2 inch then spun.  Until you get it back lined up it will look mostly normal but you can't get the damn tranny and engine bolted together right.
