Body Mounts / Lift for a Fiberglass Tub...

While swapping over the body on the 7, I would like to put new body mount bushings in. I have been told that you have to use special bushings and cannot have any body lift.

Is this true?

If not, what have people done?

Anybody...I can't find any products to put new body mount bushings in for the fibergalss tub...anyone have an idea?

I would call the tub dealer/manufacturer.

cut 1/4 in alum plates sized by looking at where body mounts to pucks some are like 4inx4in some aer bigger helps spread weight its what i did to my cj5 with 3 in body lift seems to be working

I just put a fiberglass body on my jeep. I don't think you will have problem with it not beig strong enough, as mine doesn't even use the body mounts on the rear bumper. Also watch the mounts by the gas tank I had to raise mine 3/4 inch to clear the hoses. Just for reference mine is from AJs.

Cool, thanks for all the input. I think I am going to do a 1" BL and then trim the pucks as necessary to make it level
