Ok folks, tonite my check engine light came on. Any thoughts what it might be??? My exhaust man has been cracked for a year now soooo, could that be skruuing with my O2 sensors or something. Im pretty sure it has to do with my cracked manni. Any other thoughts???? Bull.

Check and make sure your gas cap is tight... Also you should check your error codes. I'll try to remember how to do that - I think it's turn your key on while pressing the the trip odometer. Or - turning your key to run three times (not cranking) and then read the digital OD display or count the flashing check engine light. I'll look it up

turn the key to on
then to off
five times while pressing the odometer will give you the code.. then if you do a search here I posted the codes a while ago.

your manifold will definetly throw a code.  I just replaced mine and the light went off.
The gas cap will throw a code also

Bull...when you changed your battery maybe you damaged that temp sensor under the battery. That will throw a code also.

You will see  error code p1492 - Ambient or battery temperature sensor voltage wrong.

My light is good for now...hasnt come on since I posted this.....only because it cleared itself when my batt died.....I guess I fixed it...lol.  Bull.
