OK, so in what may be the longest delay between ordering and installing parts:

BDS 3.5 lift
Hydro shocks
Currie front shackles
Currie rear Boomerang shackles

I figured I would do a simple test fit of bushings, sleeves, shackles and make sure everything was in order before I try and get moving on this long overdue mod. I find that with he currie CE-9040 fronts (ordered thru quadratec) test fit on the shackles that the spring wrap hits the center section on the shackle when I try to move it all the way front to back - moderate movement front and back is fine.... but it look close.  Should I just send back and get another boomerang set so I will have em front and back - or should these be fine?

Oh, and any help with the lift would be nice............hint hint.

Extended Stainless brake lines make a nice differenace...   or you can got the cheaper route of these...

with only the rear stainless line.

everything looks good, (JKS sway bar disco's if you think you want to keep your sway bar)

does the rear boomerang work with the shackles to, or does the center bolt hit as well?

If they do, then get boom for the front to... if non of them fit... get the MORE ones especially made for BDS with the military wrap...

AND FOR GOD SAKE, LET'S GET IT INSTALLED

I Know, I Know........... when you have to dust off the mods instead of installing them it's not good!

New SS lines are on the way and I am sending back my shackles for new ones. As an aside - how much space should there be between the center support on the shackle and the spring itself?

I am not home to measure, but here is one thing I found.

5-1/4" center to center = 5/8" lift
4-3/4" center to center = 3/8" lift for non millitary wrap.

does not give you the center,, but you can see the diff...
