cj power brake booster

are the cj-7 power brake boosters from 1982-1986 interchangable with the older units.... I can get a 1980 or 81 powerbrake booster with the mc besides the rerouting of the brake lines can it be done...???

Not trying to hijack...but I was interested in sort of the same thing.

I wanted to use a brake setup from an 89 YJ, pedal and all out to the master cylinder into my CJ to run with the new full size axles.

Will this work? Anyone done it :?: :?:
