cj steering wanders

ok... driving down the road the jeep seems to wander to one side or the other... I have to constantly correct it by turing the wheel...
here is what I checked done so far..
need new ball joints... done..
adjusted steering box... has good shocks and sway bar is attached with good bushings all over...
the only thing I can think of is maybe the 4 inches and the shackles which are stock height...
could it be the steering box???? tie rod ends...

I had SERIOUS self steering issues in my 83 and it turned out to be in the steering column.

deffinatly check the tie rod end, it doesn't take a lot of slack there to be noticable when driving in a straight road.

Front end alignment cause of the new lift?

Wayne did you do a drop pitman arm when you went to the 4" If not the geometry in the front would probably be off, and cause it to wander like you are saying
