CJ/YJ Tub

I think the next mod to the rig is going to have to be a new tub. Guess I'm looking for a YJ tub, what year did they start galvanizing?
I only want to do this once.

1992 and up was galvanized.  the one you posted about on NEOW looks to be a good price, even if it needs minor repair it is fairly easy to do while it is stripped down

Karl, buy it....its a good tub.  Plus while its off you can cote it with whatever rust crap ya want.  Bull.

I just did a 93 YJ tub on my Jeep. It was my first undertaking of that sort. It was very basic and I found it easy. I reused my CJ tailgate and dash. I had to have two body mounts made up. They are the ones in front of the rear tires. The rest bolt right up. I also had to modify the firewall for my master cylinder. I just made up a flat plate. If you have any questions the build is fresh in my mind.
