dana 30 vacum motor question

Alright here goes, looking for the resident expert out there on the p.o.s. Dana 30 vacum motor. my buddy detonated hus dana 30 in his 90YJ Friday and I happened to have a spare complete setup with the correct gears out of my 92 laying around. I happily donated it to him, we bolted it up today everything went well except that it appears that the vacum plugs are different on the the later jeep. looking for a simple fix, should we swap the vacum motor out of the 90 axle or swap the vacum harness, this is his DD he's rolling just no 4WD for now. What do ya think?

a thought; you can buy these cable actuators from jcwhitney that replace the vacumn lines and then you can run 2 lo as well or if you are in full lock in the front you can run in 3 wheel drive ( :roll: )to get around a corner. pete

thanks for the suggestions, I did some checking on line last night and I think that I am going to just swap the pos vacum motor and call it done. This kid is on a serious budget and I just want to get him wheeling again!!!!

Yep, just swap... you have 2 air lines (in/out) and the 2 wire 4wd light engaged switch...
