Looking for 1" to 4" just wondering if anyones used em and where did ya get em ?

Used for beveling large holes on gussets and such like the pic    Its an easy way to lose weight yet retain strength in the part

That's what I thought you were talking about but wasn't sure.
Here ya go.
http://www.irvansmith.com/catalog2/parts/irvan_flare.shtml

I've been wanting to order a set of them for a long time now, but haven't had a big enough project to justify buying them.
But then again, I've bought specialty tools and only used them once in years.

I know they have ones that can do heavy stuff if its a power hydraulic set up   Im just gonna fab up something with heavy box tube  and a 30 ton cylinder w/hand pump. You know ,fab some thing so ya can fab another thing

Nice! How about making the framework large enough to accept a good portion of a hood.
And then make up some louver punch dies.
I don't know of anyone in the area with one, and have been wanting to louver the xj hood to let some the heat out from under it in the summer time.

I'll cut the braces out, and drop it off for a few rows before next summer.
Much cleaner and functional than a plastic piece.

They can alos be called flanged lighting holes, atleast that is what the aircraft industry calls them, hell there is even a military spec for them.
