(New Fairfield-AP, Mar. 16, 2006 6:08 AM) _ New Fairfield police say a local man has been found dead, pinned under his car at his home.

Thirty-nine-year-old Robert Mahana, a longtime volunteer firefighter, was found dead yesterday.

Police had gotten a call from Mahana's employer when he didn't show up for work. Police do not suspect foul play.
 
Sucks, but sometimes Darwin is a good teacher.

If you're gonna cut a corner, make sure it's not a corner that could save your life.
 
A buddy of mine was working on his truck and his jack didn't go high enough, so he used a cardboard box of books to raise up the jack.
