Anyone know any quick tips on setting the door hinges. I will be putting them on tomorrow, and was wondering if there was a trick to try and center the door.
I found it best to put the bottom one on, snug it. Put the top one on loose. Check if the door will close. The idea is to set the initial height with the bottom hing, making sure it is forwd/back enough to actually line up the bottom body line. Then set the top hing.
You'll have the door on and off about 10 times.... :roll:
thanks, not new, I have half doors that I bought a couple years ago, and the hinge for some reason is off. The doors are only a year diff, and the paint is not disturbed, but it does not line up...
Problem is that the Body side is adjustable AND the door side has some play. So two Jeeps are never the same. Even if they followed each other down the assembly line.
