Exchanging Detroit for ARB

ok, I called Drivetrain Direct to ask about the exchange/upgrade and the said YES! 8) ....but....I have to wait until January when the get more Super 35 kits in...then he'll swap out the ARB from one kit and replace it with my Detroit. VERY Good new, but it sucks have to wait to regear until the end of Jan :( I hope you guys that I've been talking to are right and the ARB is worth it!!! :twisted:
 
If this is your DD go with the ARB (Ice/Snow/Wet roads & Detroit don't mix well) If you do mostly trails go with the Detroit and put an ARB of limited slip in the front
 
Nice HiJack Detour!

It isn't my daily driver, however, I want the wife to still be able to drive the Jeep in any weather, since she has agreed to practice driving stick some more. After the lockers and now that my back is better, the hopes are that I will be able to wheel more w/o getting stuck as much anymore.

Since I am used to driving an all-wheel dirve Subaru, I really think I'm going to hate the detroit in the snow, with the rear end sliding around like it was a Camero.

Since my switch pod is ful allready, I was looking into this -

That tray is usuall empty or has some piece of garbage in it anyway. Anybody have one?
