Front axle question

I looked at a TJ over the weekend that had a front axle that was set up like a Ford 9 inch with the whole carrier removable from the rear.  It had a flat plate for a skid plate at 45 degrees on the housing in the front. The manual hubs looked like a Dana 44. It had wheel spacers or adapters so I couldn't see the original bolt pattern.  It was the size of a D44 or a D30, not heavy enough to be a 1 ton.  The Jeep was what was left of an 03 Rubicon, at least that's what the sign said.

Any idea what this axel is?

Could have had Suzuki axles under it. If it looked the size of a 30 or 44, it definitely wasn’t a 9. The 9 I have sitting in my garage makes the dana 30 next to it look puny.

I thought my 79 Bronco had bolt out’s front and rear but that was quite awhile ago?!

Ford had an 8" too.

It ended up being a hi-nine.  Jeep is gone so it must have sold.
