Fuel additives?

Just an embarassing newbie question :roll: ...Is there a need to add any additaves to the fuel we use in our TJ's to keep them running smooth? Such as fuel injector cleaner or the like..... If so what brands and how often do you recommed them? Thanks....

Most of that stuff is already blended into the gasoline you buy at the pump, so in my opinion it's a waste of $$$ and not needed at all.

And you don't need high octane gas either unless you can hear your motor pinging and knocking. Just standard grade works fine otherwise.

And for those folks that use dry gas in the winter - that's wasted money, alcohol was added to replace the MTBE.
