When I shift and the gears engage the Jeep squeaks, besides the grindind in 2nd & 3rd. Could it be bad motor mounts causing the engine to move and causing the grinding when I shift?.......or could it be worn bushings between The frame & tub?? since the PO did lift it and he could have used some cheap crap bushings. I know or I've heard that older jeeps grind gears I think I can live with that if there is nothing you can do about it. But the squeak is really annoying. I'm thinking about a can of PB & spraying the crap out of things to narrow it down.
