Heater core

Sooo, I have a new heater core sitting on the front seat of the jeep. Any hints
on ripping the plastic cowling crap out? Do I have to unhook all the cables etc? My crappy Haynes book just shows a picture, no instructions.

Soak the hell out of the studs that pokethrough the firewall too, they love to break off

Soooo. New heater core is installed. Not too bad. Just had to remove EVERYTHING associated with the dash. Like take the steering column half way out, remove the dash, passanger seat etc. :roll:
Now that it's in, my F-ing blower motor CRAPPED OUT!! I'm going to remain calm and put the can of gas and matches away.
I'm off to Advanced to get a new motor...and today I'm going to rip the dash out AGAIN! :roll:

I figured that out the second time around. Dropped the box in about 15 minutes. Put in a bigger blower because the rocket scientists at Advanced Auto couldn't find me a CJ one. They just looked through boxes till they found something similar. I had to hack out the firewall a little to make it work. :twisted: Not a bad job after all.
