Hella 500 Grommet?

I just got the Hella 500 fogs and I was looking everthing over and it all looks good except that there is no grommet on the back of the light where the wires come out, just a big 'ol hole?

Are the grommets missing or am I missing something?

pull the lite out and check in side. sometimes they pull in

@cjron, yeah, I checked inside and nothing. Hmmm...

If someone could post a pic of what that grommet looks like I would really appreciate it. This way I can try to get them locally instaed of trying to go through Hella or PORC. thanks.

They should be in one of the bags.  I'll check my garage later.  I may have a few.  I've gone through a lot of Hella's over the years.  Good lights and cheap.  I've got tons of wiring kits.  I'll get back to you.  You could also take the back to the light to a Napa/hardware store and just get something that fits.  Doesn't have to be perfect.  Seal it up with RTV when your done.  Keep in mind, those lights are not watertight.

@DonnyG, Thanks anyway. I sent an email to Hella last night and this morning I got a reply stating they were sending out the grommets to me. That was fast and excellent customer service. I also emailed PORC, who I ordered them from, and they replied and said they would contact Hella to get them for me to make it right. I told them it wasn't necessary. I don't know what it is, I really get a kick out of it when customer service departments do a good job.  :grinyes:
