Help installing a thermostat that needs a c wire to a Taco sr 501 controller.

No low voltage warning, and when I turned T-stat up to 70, furnace kicked on. Hope it’s correct and I don’t burn my house down :rotflmao:

Yes, I’ll be wrapping those up. The wiring is my basement looked about as clean as that to start

The last one of those I installed did not look like that when I was done.  I will just assume your not done and .move on

Glad it works!  My wiring looked like that when I did my wireless T-stat on my vintage furnace.  I couldn't sleep until I straigtened it out with some tidy wire management!

I accidentally forgot about the original thermostat when we remodeled the kitchen and buried the wires behind sheet rock  :redface:

So wireless was the only option.  I have the T-stat stuck on the side of the fridge with magnets.  I have a single zone system, so bonus with the wireless is I just bring the thermostat into the room I'm in during the winter and I'm always at a comfortable temp  :rotflmao:
