Ok guys, I am going to buy the RE 4.5 inch superflex suspension lift from group buy but I don't know what shocks to buy.  Here are the three different choices they have for this kind of lift $129.00 for DT 3000 shocks, $239 for RE Monotube Shocks, $299 for Rancho RS 9000 X's.  Oh and I am getting the 4.5 inch coils, NOT the 3.5 inch coils if this helps any.

Thankyou,
Mandy

This is what I am getting

Hey Mark, do you think they will be fine for the lift that I am getting?  And do you know if I need to get anything else other than the lift, tires, shocks, and SYE kit and TW drive shaft?

Thank you Mark, oh and would you pretty pretty please help me when its time to install?  I will help out as much as I can.

Thank you Mrs. D, and anytime just make sure theres no jeep events going on

OK but really, is there anyone else who wants to put there  :2cents:, it would be greatly appreciated :grinyes:

Maybe thing about an Adjustable Rear Trackbar.  You might have clearance issues with the gas tank (or skid if you have one) with the bracket.

Trade that crap in for a YJ and I'll be able to help you out

Can't help with advise but can help when it comes time to putting it together.  I'm very good at handing the guy who's fixing it a beer

i know sometimes the rear shocks will hit the bottom spring bucket  so that may be a problem

Yeah,  that will happen.  Especially with 4.5"
I have a set of Currie Extension on mine.

Mandy,

Are you going to need a SYE with that kit?

I like the Old Man Emu shocks. But that choice was not on your list.

she is getting a sye and shaft.    everyone  likes  the OME  shocks i think ill have to get a set for the next round

I would go with the RE shocks, as they have been calibrated for the kit, and from what i have READ and only read, they are perfect for the kit and ride great. As for the OMEs, i don't think they make them big enough for the 4.5, i may be wrong though.

You WILL need shock relocaters, or you can mount the cans unside down to avoid this, check with the shock company if you can do this though.

How about a set of Big Black Cock Shocks?

The BBCS-15's are probably too much for what you need, but for 99 bucks, it's got a lot of cool features to it if you need a long travel shock.
I'm going to give a pair of these a try to go with the 4 link.

I'd have to agree with Zach, get the matched set from Rubicon Express. Mine worked great with my first RE lift until I bent the heck out of the rear ones.

That add would be better if it were a guy with a bulging crotch holding up those shocks. And he should not be using any hands to keep things up.

The OME N667L and N66L are good up to a 5" lift.
