I ended up flooding my interior this weekend with some nice stagnant muddy water

The water level pretty much covered my floor pan up to the top of the tranny hump.

:witstupid:

Now the carpet and seats are sitting on my lawn drying out. :boink:

Thank you, to the CJ family for all the help bailing the water out and helping with the tow straps. :D

Now see how much fun you would have missed out on, if you had not found your keys.

 If you had one of those boat propellers that go in the hitch, you probably would've made it.

It looks like the water almost made it up to the air intake behind the headlight.

As for the rug. Clean it VERY well. Pond stink lasts a long time.

I ended up getting a new rug after I submarined my cherokee.

Hey just herculine the inside now........and when you do call me and Ill do my tj tub at the same tome. Bull.

yeah call me up too and I'll do the yj.

Outdoors pool carpeting works quite well as a jeep rug. It conforms reasonably well. It's made for wet locations. You can get a matching color as well.

Also it's about $20 for enough to do the whole jeep.

yeah, but then you have to spend the money for a diving board and twisty slide. and those just aren't very good on the trails.

Rhinoliner is $$ and SOFT.

If you are gonna do the inside of your jeep with one of the real deal spay on one I would go line-ex or one of the other harder linings. My buddy did the inside of his jeep and it is all cut up.

if you are gonna go the do it yourslef route, try duraback over herculiner.

I have the herculiner and it is just a PITA to clean. it is not hose out like they say it is. Dura back, doesn't have the beads in it that hold the dirt. just a rouch surface.
