Jeep & 4x4 races - Sunday, May 7th

Come on out to the races in Southwick, MA sponsored by Central Connecticut Four Wheelers on Sunday, April 9th. Lots of 4x4 racing action.  Jeeps, trucks, and buggies race wheel to wheel on a track designed for motocross.

Show your 4x4 off in the CCFW/NEJEEP 4x4 and Jeep corral. There will be a reserved area for the show and shine, or you could just show up muddy if you like. Park your rig and let everyone see all the work that's been done to it.  The corral is not limited to Jeep vehicles 

It's always a great time. Hot laps start at 11:45am and racing starts at 12:00 noon. Get there earlier to make sure you get a spot in the corral.

Good day at the NEJEEP corral. THanks to Al, Dave and Dan for hang'in around the NEJEEP tent. Met a few people, and tried to coax a couple renegades to change thier ways.
Also, we need to put the COALT link in the NEJEEP flier.

I had the oh so fun of reading my textbooks this afternoon. 

Now it's off to write so more of my papers.

Wow, what a day. There was some serious racing going on. 
You'da thought that it was the last race of the season intead of the first.  :grinyes:


Thanks to everyone that helped out.
Zach and his friend with the diesel dodge were a huge help with flat-towing the broken race rigs back to the pit.

It was a great day, the jeeps look a little better now with
some dents & scrapes, they were too shiny & white.
Well if my boyfriend gets his butt in gear i'll have another
racer to cheer on, hes got the race jeep bug now. On the
way home that was all he talked about, he wants to build one now.
