a word of advise DON'T DO IT
i learned my lesson this weekend
thought i had a bad torque converter (as those of you who were still around on the rocks after the ralley heard it for yourself you understand why i thought this)
well afterputting the swap off for as long as i could without risking being ready for the upcoming trail ride. i decided thursday to get it done
after lifting the parts jeep into postion for the removal ( no hi lifts were involved :evil
i relized i had no proof that the converter was the problem
so i set off on a journey of discovery which led me to the local tranny shop where we discovered it was not the converter at all but a broken motor mount (which is much cheaper and easier to replace)
the point of the story is do the research it may just save you a whole lot of time and aggravation and maybe even some cash
