My rear shock is now shaped like a hockey stick and need replace it asap before WTF.
Are there any local Doetsch tech dealers in the area or do I have to go online to order one. If so, who has em that's reputable, and ships on time? The other three are fine, so I won't be upgrading now.
BTW, it's a DT3333 if someone has one lying around and want to sell it.

Call Q-Tech, if they have them in stock you will have it Tuesday.

However, call them, their on line order crap sometimes does not tell you if it back ordered.

Thanks for the link to doetsch Damon. I'll check it out.

Called Q-tec because they still showed the dt3333 as being available on their site, but when I called they had gotten rid of their whole stock from that company. He told me doetsch was way too unreliable with suppying them on a regular basis. They would back-order common sizes for months at a clip for no good reason.

Yeah Doestchshit does that to all the dealers. They are frequently on back order. Maybe go with different shocks all together.
I went to Napa and went line by line in the catalog until I found one with the same specs. It'll get me by for a while. Too busy this week to play games ordering and hoping it arrives in time. It's in and done.
I'll be doing some suspension work to it soon, so the travel will change.

I had the DT-3000s on the last Jeep- nothing spectacular. Typical hydraulic shock.

I will be looking to upgrade to better shocks when the new suspension work gets done. We have had two blingstein failures in the club so far. Both broke in the same location of the shaft, and one caused further damage disabling the whole braking system on the trail. Coincidence or problem with product? :smt017
I will be looking for a set of good quality long travel shocks when the wheeling season slows down.

I'll probably get the cheap choice as they all get damaged one way or another. Mine lasted almost 30k of use before I needed to replace (from rusty's). Same as the tires. The more expensive ones just make you cry more when you cut the side wall on a rock.

I've been using OME long travel shocks for about 1 1/2 years. Wonderful highway ride, no problems off-road. I switched to the shorter ones in the rear after I installed the shock spacers for the lower mounts to go with the whole pinion adjustment (shocks needed to be shorter). Worth the extra $$$.

OMEs have turned out the best so far over other shocks I've ever run, I also saw they make a remote resevoir shock called the LTR:

I didn't hear about this, was it KLank? I snapped one at Paragon. I think I'm gonna go with some other shocks. Maybe some OME.

Yeah it was Ken, snapped, then he was able to over extend and rip a brake line.... :x
