Bull, I don't have much to offer. I don't have flame, but you're welcome to use my garage. Never did an exhaust manifold, but I can be a second set of hands.

Why do you need a torch? An exhaust manifold is bolt on.

Plan on taking some time with this. It can take some hours.

Ive been told by lots of people to have a torch for stubburn bolts so I dont break the studs. Im I wrong? I would love to just unbolt and go. But my luck isnt good. Bull.

no joke it a trick an old timer taught me. heat up the bolt push the wax into it let it cool a bit and out it comes. needs to be parafin wax. the heat draws the wax in

if you use mapp gas its a bit hotter than propane it will heat bolts red hot if you wait a bit http://www.bernzomatic.com/bernzomatic/consumer/jhtml/gasTypeComparisons.jhtml

I pulled the header off one of my cherokee's, No broken bolts.

I'd be happy to help but this time tomorrow I'll be in norway. I'll be back next week.

Bull, I'm in. Schedule is tight though. Cinci this week. Shooting a Wedding on Sat. Next week I'll be in DC until Wed.

So, Maybe Sunday 11/12. Or get started Thursday 11/16 after work.

I've got a map gas torch.

I can pop by with it and be an extra set of hands as long as its not tomorrow.  Ive got an Astronomy test at 7
